TUMKUR: Senior Congress leader and former MP Srikantadatta Wadiyar said here on Friday that he would popularise cricket in rural areas and promote the rural talents from the State at the national and international level. Mr. Wadiyar, who is contesting the election to the post of president of Karnataka State Cricket Association, carried out his election campaign in Tumkur district on Friday. The district has six voters. He said that he was confident of getting the support of all the votes in the district. — Staff Correspondent
