Stamps on young achievers

PATNA: The Centre is likely to clear a proposal to issue stamps on young achievers.

Union Minister of State for Communications Shakeel Ahmed said the Indian Post was actively considering a proposal to issue a series of stamps on star-performers to appeal to the youth and boost their morale.

“Why should we not have stamps of icons like Sachin Tendulkar , Shahrukh Khan , Sania Mirza and even the former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam whose popularity among the youth is no secret.”
