‘Aadi mahabhishkem’

JAYAMKONDAM: A number of devotees witnessed the ‘Eka dina Aadi mahabhishkem’ at the Sri Mahishasuramardhini shrine of Sri Brahadeeswarar temple at Gangaikondacholapuram.

Amid religious fervour, women brought the ‘kudams’ containing milk and offered it to Sri Mahishasuramardhini, marking the ‘Kadai Velli’ celebrations. Special ‘pujas’ were performed.
