Land struggle panel submits draft bill

HYDERABAD: Representatives of the 195 United Land Struggle Committees on Friday submitted a draft bill on land commission to Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, with intent to recover/distribute land, basically assigned, and to dispossess the occupied assigned/Government lands. Led by K. G. Kannabiran, the representatives handed over the Andhra Pradesh State Land Commission (Authority) Bill, 2007, for examination so as to enable the Government to implement the recommendations of the Koneru Ranga Rao Land Committee.
