‘Green’ contest for students

CHENNAI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s Young Indians (YI) and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) of CII-Godrej Green Business Centre will organise a ‘Green-I Contest’ for students of Classes IX to XII in Chennai.

The winning school would receive a grant of Rs.5 lakh towards implementation of green ideas in their campus. The Award will be presented at the Green Building Congress 2007 to be held in Chennai next month. Each school needs to send one entry consolidating the ideas of all the students.The last date for sending the entries is August 31.
