No songs, no fights, no interval
S.R. Ashok Kumar
Chennai: Here is a Tamil movie without an interval, songs or fights. Titled ‘Akku’ (the last vowel in Tamil), it is being produced by On Life Network and directed by Mamani, who has worked under R. Balu, R. Parthepan and S.P. Jananathan. “Everybody is curious about the title. I have chosen. The letter (ayutha ezhuthu) is unique to the Tamil language. Since I do not want the screenplay to slow down, I decided to have no interval,” says the director. The story is about a man who wants to live in peace. The film is shot in and around Chennai. A few car and bike chases have been shot in crowded places in the city.
