KOLKATA: “There can be no compromise in any way on the nuclear deal with the United States and if the United Progressive Alliance Government goes ahead with it, we will have no option but to disassociate ourselves from this Government,” All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) general secretary Debabrata Biswas told The Hindu on Friday. “The stability of the UPA Government is in the hands of the UPA. If it persists with the deal it is endangering the very government it runs. We cannot take the responsibility of its survival and the AIFB will pursue its stand on this issue with its Left partners”, Mr. Biswas said from New Delhi. “There is no ambiguity in our position. And there is no question of viewing the issue lightly…,” he said.
