Confirmation cards given to pilgrims

HYDERABAD: Confirmation cards were presented to selected Haj pilgrims by Mohd Ali Shabbir, Minister for Minority Welfare, at a function held at Haj House here on Saturday. The cards were given to pilgrims aged 75 years and above.

He said the annual Haj conference would be held in Hyderabad on September 8. It would discuss measures to improve facilities for pilgrims. Haj Committee chairman, Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed, said confirmation cards to other pilgrims would be given from Monday onwards and the first Haj camp would be held on August 26.
