ALAPPUZHA: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) will observe the 59th death anniversary of P. Krishna Pillai, regarded as the founder of the Left movement in Kerala, here on Sunday. A host of programmes, slated to be attended by the top brass of the party, including CPI(M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan and Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac, among others, will be organised at the P. Krishna Pillai Memorial at Thiruvambadi and the memorial at Kannarkat in Muhamma . —Staff Reporter
