Bank employees to protest in Delhi

Bangalore: The All-India Bank Officers’ Association and the All-India Bank Employees’ Association have launched a national campaign on various issues affecting the banking industry, and in this regard over 5,000 bank employees will stage a “dharna” in front of Parliament House on August 31.H.V. Rai, general secretary, Karnataka Pradesh Bank Employees’ Federation, told presspersons here on Friday that there was a calculated change in the policies and schemes of banks in the favour of corporates and against the interests of the ordinary banking public.
