Lorry strike may go on for a month

Bangalore: The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners and Agents Association have said that the ongoing strike called by the sand and construction material transporters is gaining momentum and is likely to go on for another month. Representatives of the federation anticipated the support of cargo transporters to the strike. The federation has condemned the Government’s lack of interest in coming to an amicable solution to the problem and negotiating with the transporters. — Staff Reporter
