Demand implementation of GO 610, Girglani and Jaibharat Committee reports
ADILABAD: The Telangana Non Gazetted Officers’ Union (TNGOs) on Saturday demanded re introduction of mulki rules with reference to Telangana region. The Union has plans to organise a big agitation in the future on its demand for implementation of GO 610, Girglani and Jaibharat Committee reports. At a press conference here, TNGOs central union president D. Sudhakar and general secretary K. Swamy Goud opined that mulki rules became essential for implementation as the Presidential Order and Six Point Pormula had failed in achievement of development in Telangana region in different fields. At least mulki rules will protect the right of locals, they hoped. The Union leaders demanded the Government to implement the Jaibharat Committee report which puts the number of non-locals employed in Telangana at nearly 60,000. The leaders participated in the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of TNGOs union, Adilabad branch. Collector Ahmad Nadeem was the guest of honour at the function. M. Rajeshwar Reddy, the new president was sworn in along with secretary S. Ashok and others.
