A toddler, who suffered serious burns after falling in a hot steel utensil at his house at Ramdevguda in Golconda on Tuesday, died while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) on Friday. The incident took place when two-year-old M. Akhil was playing in the house, the police said.

A 38-year-old woman hanged herself to death at her residence at King Kothi on Friday. The police said Laxmi Bai ended her life as she was in severe depression after her daughter allegedly eloped four days ago. She was working as a domestic help near her house.
