Gas companies inspected

HYDERABAD: The Legal Metrology Department, in the last two days, has carried out intensive inspections in all gas companies and booked 42 cases in various parts of the State. In Hyderabad, the department has booked about eight cases, according to a press release here on Saturday.

In the last four months, the department registered 53 cases against LPG dealers. In 2004-05, 134 cases were registered against LPG dealers and filling stations.
