Someswara in last eight

GUNTUR: Kakinada’s K. Someswara Rao defeated A. Surendra of Vijayawada Club 3-1 (60-21, 43-55, 60-21, 82-26) and entered the quarterfinals of the State-level Open snooker championship here on Saturday.

D. Kishore got a walkover from S. Shankar to make it to the last eight.
