New postings for IAS officers

Bangalore: M. Madan Gopal has been posted as Project Director, Karnataka Health System Development Project, Department of Health and Family Welfare.

He has been given an additional charge of Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, according to an official communiqué here on Saturday.

Vandita Sharma, who has returned from a foreign assignment, has been posted as Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Bangalore, until further orders in the existing vacancy caused by the transfer of L.K. Atheeq.

Rajeev Chawla has been posted as Regional Commissioner, Gulbarga, in the existing vacancy.

Anil Kumar Jha, who was earlier Project Director, Karnataka Health System Development Project, has been posted as Secretary to Government (Expenditure), Finance Department, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy caused by transfer of M.R. Kamble.

K.S. Prabhakara has been posted as Secretary (Medical Education), Health and Family Welfare Department, Bangalore, relieving M.N. Vidyashankar of the additional charge.

New post

K. Amaranarayana has been posted as Additional Secretary, Karnataka State Human Rights Commission, Bangalore, in the newly created post.

Agriculture Marketing Commissioner M. Lakshminarayana has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Transport.

IAS probationer and Assistant Commissioner, Lingsugur Sub-division, M. T. Reju, has been transferred, and he has been posted as Assistant Commissioner of Tarikere Sub-division, Chikmagalur district.
