Body fished out

The police on Sunday fished out a body from Hussainsagar.

The police said M. Raghunath, 54, a resident of Lakdi-ka-Pul, could have ended his life by jumping into the lake due to alleged financial problems.

Man slips in bar, dies

A 34-year-old man died after he slipped from the staircase of a bar-cum-restaurant in Rezimental Bazaar on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as A. Umapathi from Secunderabad, according to the police.

Vendor killed in accident

A vegetable vendor was killed after a lorry hit him at Golconda on Saturday. The police said G. Manaiah, 47, a resident of Bojjugutta, was crossing the road when the accident took place.
