CHENNAI: The Stenographers’ Guild, T.Nagar, has appealed to the Tamil Nadu Government to bring out shorthand books in Tamil. The appeal was made by the Guild President S.V. Ramaswamy at the 70th anniversary celebrations of the guild.
He also urged the Government to encourage Tamil shorthand by giving cash incentives and additional increments to those who qualified. Chairman of City Union Bank S. Balasubramaniam inaugurated the anniversary celebrations and distributed prizes to winners of English and Tamil shorthand competitive tests conducted by the Guild.
