50 injured in accident

VILLUPURAM: Fifty persons, including 20 students, were injured when the transport corporation bus they were travelling in overturned at Athiyur near here on Monday.

The bus was on its way from Ginjee to Thirukkoilur. The incident occurred while it was negotiating a turn at Athiyur.

The local people rescued the passengers, who were taken to the government hospital for treatment.
