A showcase of several artists

Bangalore: It will be the fourth year this month since Galerie Sara Arakkal first opened with a camp for 50 artists. Ever since, each anniversary celebration has drawn in more artists, and this year, 70 Indian artists, both established and upcoming will showcase their works at the gallery.

Among the participating artists are Achuthan Kudallur, Anjali Sapra, Badri Narayanan, Dipali Bhattacharya, Nupur Kundu, Paresh Hazra, Shafi Quraishy, Sunil Das, and of course, Yusuf Arakkal.

Galerie Sara Arakkal aims to promote Indian contemporary art, with a special focus on artists from south India The gallery also creates affordable art and signed reproductions of the works of senior artists .

Beginning with a preview on August 25, the works will be on display until September 8. Galerie Sara Arakkal is at 156, 4th Main, BEML Layout, ITPL Main Road. For details call 41162622.
