Road blocked

ATTUR: Residents of Ward 11 in Thammampatti Town Panchayat blocked road on Monday asking the district administration to ensure adequate supply of drinking water.

They complained that they were facing problems because of irregular supply of drinking water. The town panchayat was yet to make any efforts to provide uniform supply of water. Panchayat officials pacified the agitators. Traffic on the road was affected for about an hour.
