Documentation of Indiramma beneficiaries from Sept. 1

Machilipatnam: The district administration would document the details of the beneficiaries identified under second phase of the Indiramma housing scheme from September 1 to 15. The documentation includes taking photographs of the beneficiaries, according to Krishna District Collector Navin Mittal.

Addressing the Indiramma scheme special officers meeting here on Tuesday, Mr. Mittal said that the beneficiaries would be identified as a part of ‘Intintaa Indiramma’ programme, which is scheduled to begin from September 1.

Indiramma sambaralu

The public representatives would be involved in the documentation of beneficiaries, and three teams, each comprising revenue, housing and MDO officials, would visit every household to identify the beneficiaries, he said. Mr. Mittal said that Indiramma sambaralu would be organised from September 20 to 26, and Indiramma grihapravesalu (housewarming ceremonies) would be organised from October 2 to 21.

The housing department would provide 3 digital cameras to each mandal for taking photographs, he said.

The Collector asked the officials to inform the all the beneficiaries, who have been identified for sanction of old age, widow and physically challenged people, that pensions were sanctioned to them. He also told them that the chief minister’s letters should be handed over to the beneficiaries, he added.

DM (housing) K. Chandrasekhara Rao, SE Ch. Mallikarjuna Rao, Zilla Parishad CEO K. Suryaprakasa Rao, DPO T. Sravan Kumar and others were present.
