Theft reported

KASARAGOD: The Kanhangad police have started investigation on a complaint filed by Thekkepurakkal Hamid, partner of Minar Jewellry, Panathoor. According to the complaint 400 sovereigns of gold and Rs.one lakh was stolen from the jewellery. The police dog squad and finger print experts inspected the spot on Sunday. A team led by Circle Inspector of Vellarikundu is investigating the case.
