ALAPPUZHA: Three employees of the State Pareeksha Bhavan were killed in an early morning road accident at Arattuvazhi, near here, on Monday. The accident occurred at around 5 a.m. when the car in which Rajesh, 32, a native of Kollam, Jyothi, 29, a native of Thiruvananthapuram and Mahendran, 34, a native of Thalassery, collided with a lorry coming from the opposite direction. The three men, who were returning to Thiruvananthapuram after attending to examination duties, were killed on the spot. The impact of the collision was such that Fire and Rescue Service personnel had to toil for nearly an hour to cut the mangled car and take out the bodies.
