PATHANAMTHITTA: The Viswa Hindu Parishad has organised a three-day Onam festival for the inmates of 15 baalikasadanams and baalashrams (orphanages) run by it in different parts of the State at the Mar Thoma Youth Centre (Veluthampi Nagar) at Adoor from August 24 to 26. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, VHP leaders K.P. Narayanan, Manmadhan Nair and M.K. Aravindan said Transport Minister Mathew T.Thomas would formally inaugurate the festival on August 25 forenoon.
