Panel to visit Madurai on August 30
MADURAI: A panel of experts from the National Monitoring Committee for Minorities’ Education, New Delhi, is visiting Madurai on August 30 to hear the views/ problems of minority-run educational institutions in six southern districts.
The committee would convene an open meeting of representatives of these institutions (both technical and higher education) in which they could air their problems, A. Mohamed Ismail, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, said on Tuesday.
A seven-member committee, headed by its chairman, Zafar Ali Naqvi, would interact with the heads of institutions. The meeting would be held at the American College.
