THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI State executive has decided to launch a State-wide campaign against the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal. A party release said here on Tuesday that the State executive had decided to associate with other Left parties to hold joint rallies over the issue on September 4 and organise seminars at various places from September 4 to 9. The release pointed out that the nuclear deal could not be seen in isolation as it had come against the backdrop of the joint military exercises involving the two countries and attempts by the U.S. to have a permanent presence in Asia. — Special Correspondent
