IFWJ session in Goa from tomorrow

PANAJI: The 124th working committee session of the Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) will be held in Goa this week (Thursday-Saturday) to decide on issues to be put before the new wage board for journalists and to prepare an action plan to demand 60 per cent early interim rates of wages.

Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will formally inaugurate the session on Friday while the chairman of recently constituted Wage Board Justice Narayan Kurup is expected to take part, according to President of Goa Union of Journalists (GUJ) Suhasini Prabhugaonkar.
