Karan’s effort in vain

NEW DELHI: Karan Bhola’s all-round performance (50 and three for 15) went in vain as St. Mark’s Sports Academy defeated West Delhi Cricket Academy by five wickets and entered the quarterfinals of the Shalimar Cup under-19 cricket tournament on Tuesday.

The scores: West Delhi CA 105 in 29.5 overs (Karan Bhola 50, Gaurav Jangra four for 23, Priyank Tehlan three for 13) lost to St. Mark’s SA 106 for five in 23.2 overs (Ankit Dabas 34, Shobhit Kaushik 32, Karan Bhola three for 15).
