Allotment orders cancelled

NEW DELHI: The Slum and Jhuggi Jhompri Department of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has cancelled the allotment of 7,371 resettlement plots found to be lying vacant for an extended period. The decision came on Tuesday after a six-month survey by the Slum and JJ Department revealed that several plots were lying unclaimed. These plots were supposed to be occupied by the party concerned within one month of the allotment.
