Screening test on for IOL operations

VIZIANAGARAM: Screening test for IOL operations began at Lifeline Express (hospital on wheels) here on Tuesday. After the tests that would be conducted till Thursday, patients would be operated on specified dates. The IOL operations will be conducted for all age groups from August 24 to September 14. The operations for cleft lip for children below 16 years of age would be conducted from August 31 to September 4, polio operations for children below 14 years from September 5 to 9 and ear operations for all age groups from September 10 to 14.
The patients diagnosed for operation must present at the Lifeline Express at 8 a.m. on the dates specified to them. Joint Collector M. Jagan Mohan, Municipal Commissioner S.S. Verma and others inspected the arrangements.
