Script development workshop
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI: The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) in collaboration with the Directorate of Film Festivals will conduct a script development workshop from November 18 to 24 in Goa.
According to a PIB release, the Indian Script Development Workshop (ISDW) 2007 is designed for scriptwriters who have finalised their scripts for a feature film.
The ISDW’s aim was to develop seven commercially viable scripts for the international market. These seven scripts will be analysed in detail and focus on aspects such as structure, characters, plot development and dialogue.
Selected scriptwriters will have to submit a new version of their scripts and submit the same to the NFDC.
The NFDC will be the co-owner of these scripts and will have first right of refusal on these scripts for production purposes.
