HYDERABAD: The senior inter-district aquatic championships for men and women will be conducted by the Hyderabad District Swimming Association under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh Amateur Aquatic Association (APAAA) at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation swimming pool, Secunderabad, on August 26. The State teams will be selected here for participation in the senior National championships in Goa from September 19 to 24. Competitions will be held in freestyle over 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500m, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly stroke over 50, 100, 200m, individual medley over 200 and 400m, and spring and high board diving from one and three metres. In addition to a registration fee of Rs. 25 per swimmer, there will be an entry fee of Rs. 10 per event. Entries close with the General Secretary, APAAA, Room No. 29, L.B. Stadium, Hyderabad, on or before August 25.
