CHENNAI: Kerala obtained full points after crushing Hyderabad by an innings and 19 runs on the second day of the three-day Buchi Babu all-India invitation cricket tournament second round match at Mayajaal Sports Village here on Tuesday. Kerala finished at 288 for eight in its quota of 90 overs. Having conceded a huge first innings lead of 189, Hyderabad needed to put a huge score on the board to make a match out of it. But it surrendered meekly for 170, giving Kerala an outright victory. Left-arm spinner Sreekumar Nair was the pick of the Kerala bowlers with four for 53. Not a ball was bowled in the matches involving Rajasthan versus Punjab and TNCA XI versus Mumbai due to wet outfield. The scores: Andhra 195 & 103 in 30.4 overs (Shawn Gillies five for 27, Aaron Heal four for 28) lost to Australian XI 204 in 57.2 overs (M. Suresh five for 45) & 95 for one in 20 overs (Luke Pomesback 53 not out). Hyderabad 99 & 170 in 41.5 overs (T. Suman 49, Abhinav Kumar 48, Sreekumar Nair four for 53) lost to Kerala 288 for eight in 90 overs (Sambasiva Sarma 78, R. Vincent 40). Tripura 219 & 46 for two in eight overs vs MP 320 for nine in 90 overs (Rohan Srivastava 89, Murtaza Ali 73, Rohit Dhruv 46 not out). Baroda 330 for seven vs Gujarat 87 for five in 45 overs. Karnataka 351 for five & 46 for one in 10 overs vs Assam 203 in 77.5 overs (Siv Shankar Ray 50). Combined Districts 299 vs Vidarbha 199 for seven in 72 overs (Alind Naidu 48, Gaurav Upadhye 50, S.
