Four new engineering colleges

BANGALORE: The Government has approved four new engineering colleges — in Ramanagaram, Krishnarajapet, Chamarajanagar and Hassan. A total of 5,650 engineering seats, including 960 in these new colleges, will be offered in the CET 2007 Engineering Causal Vacancy Round for General Merit and all reserved category candidates, scheduled to commence at the CET Cell here on Wednesday. Eligible engineering rank holders will be allowed to select the available seats.
