Journalists attacked

KOLAR: An alleged incident of misbehaviour by a police officer with presspersons was reported from Kolar Gold Fields on Tuesday.

Munikrishnappa, sub-inspector of Marikuppam police station has allegedly abused Rajendra, reporter of a TV channel, and Prakash of a Bangalore-based tabloid when they visited the station to collect information.

He allegedly used filthy language and tried to destroy the camera, according to a complaint filed by Mr. Rajendra.
