Lorry owners call off strike

BANGALORE: The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners and Agents’ Association on Wednesday called off their strike.

In a press release, association president G.R. Shanmugappa said the Government had responded positively to most of their demands and he acknowledged the role of Transport Minister N. Cheluvaraya Swamy and Home Minister M.P. Prakash. — Staff Reporter
