THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president P.K. Krishnadas demanded on Wednesday that Public Works Minister T.U. Kuruvilla be dropped from the Cabinet in view of certain allegations against him. Addressing a press conference here, the BJP leader said prima facie a case had been established against Mr. Kuruvilla in an inquiry conducted by the Idukki Collector into the land transactions by his son and daughters in Rajakumari village. The Collector had sought police help for the probe as the land had been held in benami. Mr. Krishnadas said statements of the KGA group which had contracted to buy the land and a complaint of Rajakumari village officer were evidences showing involvement of Mr. Kuruvilla in the deal.
