JAIPUR: Rajasthan has bagged the prestigious Today’s Traveller Diamond Award in recognition of its outstanding performance in the field of heritage tourism. Union Minister of State for Tourism Ambika Soni gave away the trophy to Rajasthan Minister of State for Tourism Usha Punia at a function in Hotel Ashok in New Delhi on Wednesday. Ms. Soni praised the State’s efforts for promoting tourism in the heritage and other areas. According to an official release here, the Managing Director of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, Rakesh Saini, and other officials were present on the occasion.
