Rashid Khan triumphs

NEW DELHI: Rashid Khan of Delhi Golf Club (DGC) won the DLF inter-caddy golf tournament with a score of four-over 76 in a field of 42 caddies at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon, near here.

The 16-year-old Rashid is currently ranked second on the IGU Order of Merit for juniors.

He was two strokes better than Mahesh (78) of the DLF Club. DGC’s Pawan Kumar finished third after losing out to Mahesh on the countback.

In the team event, DGC comprising Rashid, Pawan and Rudresh Sharma, won the title with a score of 231. DLF finished runners-up with a score of 242.
