High Court directive to PWD official

Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Thursday directed the PWD Executive Engineer to file new charts of Banerji Road, Edappally-Thevara Road and Shanmugam Road in the city.

Justice K.M. Joseph issued the directive as the chart submitted by the engineer was misleading. The court also directed the engineer to file an affidavit regarding the amount spent last year for repairing these roads. The court also orally noted that the condition of the roads were horrible.

The court gave the directive when a writ petition seeking to repair the roads came up for hearing again.
