Train services still disrupted

Kolkata: Train services continued to be disrupted for the fifth day on Friday due to incessant rain and a 500-metre breach on the Rourkela-Jharsuguda section of South Eastern Railway.

Restoration work was continuing and the up line was restored and trains allowed to move at limited speed, railway sources here said. The breach occurred between Tangarmunda and Garposh stations.

The Railways have either diverted, short-terminated or cancelled some trains scheduled to take the Rourkela-Jharsuguda route.--PTI
