Kerala scientist wins Asian Young award

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: S.K. Satheesh of Thiruvananthapuram has won the Asian Young Scientist Award (2007) of the Asian Research Assembly in aerosol research.
It is given for outstanding contributions by young scientists in Asian countries.
Function in Taiwan
It will be presented to him at a function in Taiwan. Dr. Satheesh, who took his Ph.D. from the University of Kerala, completed post-doctoral research at the University of California.
His permanent affiliation is Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
He is currently visiting NASA as a senior scientist.
