Corrections and clarifications

* * The report “No steel exports below domestic market price” (“Business”, August 21, 2007) referred to S.K. Roongta as the Chairman and Managing Director of SAIL. According to the SAIL website, Mr. Roongta is the SAIL Chairman. Managing Directors are there for its steel plants.

* * The report “Central Bank raises deposit rates” (“Business”, August 23, 2007) said the interest rate was “8.50 per cent for 2 years to less than five years.” It is for 2 years to less than 3 years.
