Telugu Thalli statue to be installed

Kakinada: Plans are afoot for the installation of ‘Telugu Thalli’ statue, first of its kind in the district, in Lalitha Pranganam situated on the Raja Tank premises, according to Baswa Chandramouli, corporator of 42nd division.

The vacant site between Mahatma Gandhi and Vivekananda statues is earmarked for the installation of the statue. The corporation is expected to accord its approval to the move at council meet.
