Music competitions

CHENNAI: International Society for Laya Awareness (ISLA) will conduct music competitions for school students from September 28 to October 2 to commemorate its 11th anniversary.

Vocal, instrumental and percussion instruments competitions are to be held for junior (ages 7 — 12) and senior (ages 13 — 18) categories. Talavadya ensemble competition for the senior category and slokha competition for children below seven years would also be held. Call 24614539 or 94442-08033 for details.
