Kochi: Kerala Congress (Joseph) leader P.C. Thomas on Saturday said that the allegations levelled against the Public Works Department Minister T.U. Kuruvilla were unfounded. At a press conference, he said that there was no evidence to prove the allegations. He said that the action of the DMK leaders in blocking Kerala-bound trains passing through Salem had to be condemned. He said that Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had assured the Kerala MPs that he would convene a meeting of the Kerala and Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers to discuss the issue of demarcating boundaries of Palakkad and Salem Railway Divisions.
