CHENNAI: ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced the launch of ICICI Prudential Indo Asia Equity Fund. The fund is an open-ended diversified equity scheme that will invest predominantly in equity and equity related securities. The fund will invest 65 per cent or more directly into Indian equities, and will initially invest up to 35 per cent in Asian Equity Fund (an open ended equity fund managed by Prudential Asset Management, Singapore) that invests in equity markets across the Asia-pacific region ex-Japan. Subsequently, the fund may choose to make investment in listed securities in the Asia Pacific Region ex-Japan, according to a release.
