Kozhikode thrashes Wayanad

SULTAN BATHERY: Kozhikode thrashed host Wayanad by an innings and two runs in the North Zone under-22 inter-district cricket championship here on Saturday.

The scores: Wayanad 107 in 30.1 (M. Harilal 39, A. Fahad five for 31) and 66 in 29 overs (Simnaj Hassan five for 32) lost to Kozhikode 175 in 33.4 overs (Simnaj Hassan 52, Jackson Roy five for 17, Abhilash four for 73).
