General alert sounded in Delhi

NEW DELHI: In the wake of the twin-blasts that rocked Hyderabad on Saturday night, the Delhi police issued a general alert in the Capital as a precautionary measure.

Soon after the news poured in, security was beefed up at bus stands, Metro stations and other public places and the rank and file were asked to be more vigilant to avert any untoward incident. There is no cause of worry or panic for the people, said a Delhi police officer.
